Dolorous Jewelry S/S’13 lookbook

I headed to Montreal this past fall to get to know Andrew and Sarah better before their upcoming wedding. They were engaged in Westmount Park (with a bottle of champagne that Andrew had stashed away until the big moment) and wanted to visit again in fall. We spent the afternoon hanging out in a waterless river, a pile of leaves, and saw the bench where they carved their initials.

We ducked inside the Westmount Conservatory to take a few more photos.

I can’t wait to return to Montreal for their wedding!

On a chilly day, I headed over to the west-end to take photos of LaKrause’s atelier. Lori-Anne is a skilled milliner who creates veils, hats, tiaras, and fascinators- often repurposing vintage jewellery and fabrics. I’ve always admired her strong aesthetic and craftsmanship, so it was fun and humbling to document the space in which she works.
